Day 3

technically, it's already day 4. but here's a quick summary of day 3 anyway.

mama flanked by two wreaths, and with jasmine flowers closeby

settled the mass for saturday, and got mild shock when the secretariat suddenly said that they hadn't checked yet if there was going to be a wedding on saturday (!), as there had just been one last week. The lord works his magic and there are no wedding bells scheduled to ring on saturday. phew.

went to the east coast town council to pay for the use of the void deck during the wake. were quite taken aback when we heard that there was some 7th month thing happening on saturday. but things got sorted out and we would still be able to go ahead as planned. i.e. leave for church and crematorium in the morning, return for lunch after, then vacate the space. FYI: charges are $25/day (excluding GST) for use of electrical point and water.

Joanne's company (Mccann-Ericsson) sent a wreath:

evening's prayers had "amazing grace", and it was quite emotional. Aunty Gladys and Uncle Ken have made it down from Malaysia, and Aunty Glad has some great stories to share about "Kor kor".

Tomorrow (FRIDAY) is the final night, and I hope everyone who's available turns up for a last hurrah for mama.
